Elaine S's Story
I have been living in constant flu like state.
You know, everything hurts as though you have been hit by a few buses, and no amount of painkillers ease the pain.
They refer you to physiotherapy where they don't really have a clue about how your feeling and how much pain you are actually in.
I now have spinal stenosis and sciatica. For 7 years everything was put down to sciatica, and no further action required.
I have constant headaches, blurred vision, neck and shoulder pain as though I have been lifting weights, breast and chest pain, ibs and severe abdominal cramps as though I'm in labour, pelvic pain, really bad back pain which travels down my buttocks into my legs, leaving walking almost impossible.
I also have anxiety which is a side effect of fibro. Yet I am deamed fit to work because I 'only' have a back pain issue. No I do not:
I HAVE CHRONIC PAIN EVERYWHERE.
